Dronfields Premier Sporting Location
The Akademy, on Callywhite Lane, Dronfield is a Sports and Fitness Centre that is enjoyed by the whole family.
Gym
The Akademy Gym has the lastest Cardiovascular resistance and weight lifting machines, as well as cross-trainers, rowing machines and steppers in the main room. There is also a Seperate Free Weights Room and Seperate Aerobics Room.
The Gym also has a Large Sauna Room and Sun Bed Room hosting the latest Sun Shower Unit.
Football
The Akademy is the only FA Affiliated sports ground in the Sheffield and Chesterfield area, meaning that each coach and referee is authorised with the Football Association.
The Akademy is host to four 3G Astroturf Pitches, and is the home to many local leagues. Each pitch is flood-lit every night until 10pm. and the pitches can be rented for private use.
Bar and Function Room
This is a great place to relax after sporting endeavours and to catch the game on the Big Screen.
Alternatively it is ideal to hire exclusively for parties or functions.
Parties
Football Parties for kids are extremely popular as the Akademy is the perfect place.
